By downloading, installing, or using Mind Shed, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Mind Shed is an AI-powered self-reflection and wellness tool operated by Mind Shed LLC. It provides structured micro-sessions using AI-generated responses to help you process thoughts and build healthy habits. The app includes health tracking features (nutrition, sleep, habits, body stats, tasks, and Pomodoro timer).
Mind Shed is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Responses, insights, and suggestions within sessions are generated by artificial intelligence (OpenAI's language models). AI-generated content is not reviewed by a human before being displayed. While we strive for helpful and accurate responses, AI content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
You should not rely on AI-generated responses as factual, professional, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the app's output.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mind Shed. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the app. By using Mind Shed, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
You agree to use Mind Shed only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the app. You must not use the app to generate content that is harmful, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
Mind Shed offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are managed by your app store.
Free trial: New users may receive a 14-day free trial of Pro features. The trial begins automatically when you first use the app. No credit card is required for the trial. If you subscribe before the trial ends, the trial period is forfeit.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your app store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Google: Play Store > Payments & subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
Mind Shed and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mind Shed LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your session content and reflections remain yours — we claim no ownership of user-generated input.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mind Shed LLC and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, emotional distress, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Mind Shed is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mind Shed LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on AI-generated content for decisions affecting your health, wellbeing, or relationships.
You and Mind Shed LLC agree to resolve any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the app through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.
Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Wilmington, Delaware, or at another mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding.
Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.
Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@mindshed.app within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Your notice must include your name, device identifier, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you retain access to your data even after termination.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
